Job Description: Reports to: - Business Operations Director.
Job Purpose: -
Speed the growth of revenue, CPE and competitive wins in sub-region by providing the most efficient, cross group collaborative business processes as a centralized service to the overall organization.
Specific services include: Three year planning, annual planning, market intelligence, six sigma process engineering and employee readiness (training). Works with the sub-region’s leadership team to identify performance improvement opportunities (e.g., growth in revenues / market share, CSAT, image improvement) and then leads / mentors project teams to build and execute detailed plans to capture the improvements.
Job Responsibilities: -

Identify, analyze, and monitor performance improvements opportunities across the sub-region.

Drive Black Belt projects to capture specific performance improvements opportunities.

Develop a Business Excellence project pipeline and mentor / coach Green Belt projects in sub-region.

Replicate successful project work (where multiple subs exist in one sub-region) and serve as a change agent and facilitator for continuous improvement work.

Ensure success of Business Excellence team via project level developmental and performance feedback via the Business Excellence community in APAC and WW.
This role will be primarily measured on the success of the individual projects that are identified, funded and delivered through execution in partnership with cross group virtual teams.
This is a sub-region wide role which will be responsible for taking on the most challenging, cross group projects that have the potential for breakthrough growth in revenue, share, image or satisfaction across the sub-region. This role will work with Subsidiary GMs and their leadership teams, as well as drive local subsidiary project teams to deliver breakthrough results.

Fully responsible for the strategy, design, development, rollout and implementation of sub-region Business Excellence programs.
This role would have at least 10% of the time dedicated to understanding and contributing to the Microsoft oriented procedures like root cause analysis, and various problem solving techniques that are currently being solidified at the WW level in Redmond. There would be an additional responsibility to lead "Champion Training" for sub-region leaders. The goal would be to enable our broader leadership to better understand how to review Six Sigma "tollgate" style projects and build a virtual team of Green Belt leaders in each country.
This job is an individual contributor role that works in the Business Operations team but will be constantly forming and leading virtual teams.

Responsible for ROI on individual projects where ROI can be defined as revenue, share, image or satisfaction metrics.

Location: Gurgaon


Candidate Profile: 5-8 years of related experience.

Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree - engineering, business or accounting preferred.

Previous work experience inside a Microsoft subsidiary or technology sector is preferred. Experience as a Master Black Belt or Black Belt is essential.

Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certification.

Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and problem solving skills are highly desirable - DMAIC, DFSS, Lean, TQM, etc.
This role is an individual contributor / facilitator who needs to have the leadership skills to mobilize commitment with senior managers at Microsoft and work in a highly matrixed organization. Needs to demonstrate supervisory / leadership skills over virtual teams that are comprised of subsidiary staff, regional staff and other Business Excellence Leads. Needs to form teams quickly, coach project teams on Six Sigma methodology to deliver results and move to the next project.
