Hi,
I had a phone interview with a company and now they are flying me out for an on-site interview. I have made the travel arrangements already that are being direct-billed to them (flight, hotel, rental car). Among these three expenses I figure they're already spending ~$1000 to bring me out there.
I was informed by email that all other expenses will be my responsibility, but will be reimbursed. This includes mileage to the airport, gas for rental car, parking, food. I was given little guidance on these expenses other than itemized reciepts required for expenses over $25.
My question is, when I go out to dinner the night before my interview, how much should I spend? Would it be ok to have a glass of wine with dinner or should I refrain from drinking? Obviously I'm not going to seek out the most expensive restaurant in town but its difficult to choose a 'mid-price' meal that could range from $5.99-25 for the entree, let alone drinks and tip.
Any advice?
Thanks. |
