Hi everyone. I have a decent job lined up but of course I'm deep in debt as a result of my student loans. Everyone I've talked to has suggested consolidation, since it'll lump all the monthly payments into one and lower my interest rate (provided that I get a good lender). I've trying to avoid the bigger names -- Nelnet, Sallie Mae -- since I haven't heard great things but the company with the best incentives, Educational Loan Company, I haven't heard much about. Still, I'll get a 2.5% reduction after four years of good payments -- that's quite a bit off the back of the loan. Any one else go with them?
