First-year study
The first year of the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours is called the Intermediate year. The Intermediate year consists of a programme of study of 126-144 points.

Beyond first year
Following the Intermediate year, three Professional years are undertaken entirely within the College of Engineering. The first and second Professional years consist primarily of compulsory courses dealing with the fundamentals of engineering science and design.
The third Professional year has much more flexibility with a variety of electives available to specialise your degree. Students select six options in areas of mechanical engineering, which are of particular interest to them. These include:

Computational Mechanics and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
